Señor Ramon || Leesburg, VA
/The mustache lured me into this Taqueria. I mean, if you saw a mustache painted on a sign wouldn't you go in?
must be honest. At first glance, I thought it was a barber shop... Nevertheless, The inside of the restaurant lived up to its quirky outdoor sign. The place had colorful blue and yellow painted walls adorned with mustaches, Lizards, and painted Calaveras (skulls)
Since, my trip to Mexico, I have been very hesitant to by tacos anywhere else and aside from the taco truck in Charlottesville, I don't usually order tacos. BUT YALL, these tacos were actually surprisingly good.Now, I can't lie and say that they were better than the tacos I had in Mexico, but I think its safe to say that it came pretty close. I ordered the Carne Asada and the Carnitas.

If you find yourself in Leesburg or Chantilly, Virginia and are in the mood for some Mexican comfort food, definitely try to stop by and get some delicious tacos! They are just $3 each (for traditional tacos ) or $4-$12 for some of the other premium tapas on the menu. I really wanted to get the loaded quesadilla, but whenever confronted with tacos, I. always. choose. tacos.
Take a look at the menu below so that you are prepared when you visit! Ramon usually has specials depending on the day, so be sure to ask for those items. The quesadilla that I talked about happened to be a special fro that particular day.
