Instagrammable Photos You Should Take at Beaches Turks & Caicos | A Photo Challenge
/Sandal’s Beaches Resort in Turks & Caicos is an absolute dream destination. I recommend this destination to families and friends alike because everyone will find something to do at this resort. Stay tuned for a write up on my experience there!
I was there for almost about a week and I could not, for the life of me, be separated from my camera. I am pretty sure people started to recognize me solely for the fact that I lugged around my heavy DSLR everywhere. Anyways, let’s get to it— Here are my top spots/ ideas at the resort that will give you flawless photos every time. Disclosure: These are just some suggestions of photos you will definitely want to take for your obligatory vacation photo album. However, every inch of the Beaches Resort is photogenic. I think I took fifty photos of just palm trees because every one of them looked so unique and beautiful. ( Do not judge! I am an East Coast Baby, so I don’t see palm trees very often).

2. The “I wish I could StayHere Forever” sign
3. The Steps Right Across from Schooner’s Seafood Grill
These steps are perfect for capturing your insta-worthy photo with the beautiful turquoise water behind you!
4. Challenger: Take a photo in every village & their pools!
Each village has their own theme and charm. It’s fun to venture from village to village seeing what each has to offer. My mom and I had fun exploring the area as well as the different restaurants situated at each spot.

5. The Gazebos in the Caribbean Village
The Caribbean village has some of the most breathtaking views and the prettiest gazebos! I honestly walked through this area every single day while I was at beaches. It is definitely a breathtaking sight.
6. The Beach—OR ANYWHERE— During Golden Hour (Sunset)
Whatever you do, take photos during the golden hour! At beaches, you will find that during this time, all of the resort photographers are out on the beach taking photos. We luckily did not have to rely on them to take our photos because I brought my professional camera. However, the photo below is an example of the natural filter that the sunset glow can add to your photo. ( Not edited, purely out of the camera).

Hopefully this list gave you some ideas of some of the portraits that you can take during your trip to Beaches Turks & Caicos! There are so many spots so it makes this list look pretty pitiful, but just have fun with it! Using this photo challenge could help you get acquainted with some of the areas at the resort! It is super fun to just hop on a golf cart and go from village to village… and you’ll get some fun photos for the Gram.
