First Engagement Session | Ebonie & Daivon

Words couldn't begin to explain how honored I was when Ebonie & Daivon reached out to me to photograph their engagement. Of course, I was a bit hesitant taking on such an astronomical task, but my nerves dissipated as soon as I met up with them. 

Ebonie had remembered me form my early photography days when I first began my business so I couldn't say no. I too this as a challenge to prove to myself that I could take on an opportunity this big.  

Ok, you are probably like why were you this nervous. Honestly, I was more afraid of them not liking my portraits more than my abilities. I have faith in my abilities, but sometimes no matter how much you try, a client may not like their photos. I haven't had an experience like that, thankfully, but that was a stipulation. 

I was able to secure the venue at Grace Estate Winery in Crozet, Virginia. which is probably the prettiest city during the fall season, when the leaves are changing colors.

I also have the amazing opportunity to photograph their wedding within a couple of months.  Wow, I couldn't have imagined,  a year ago, that I would be photographing a wedding.
