I had the pleasure of capturing the baby shower for Derrick & Deanna to celebrate their pregnancy with baby Della. Baby Della, also known as my niece, is due next month and will join the Shermans expanding their family to four! Derrick and Deanna already have a beautiful baby boy Diallo, who I have also had the pleasure of photographing so I can't wait to see how precious this baby girl is!!

Baby Della's baby shower was a rustic BaByQ theme. As per Deanna's request, there was minimal pink and I couldn't have been more in. love with the decorations and theme. I actually appreciated the minimal pink because it created a gender neutral and non specific space. It still looked girly, but didn't force the gender binaries as much. 

This beautiful rustic designed baby shower was created by Nadia Khoury-King of Afif collections in Northern Virginia. Each chair is specially made and designed for each event of your liking. This chair tied in the decorations beautifully. It was very perfect for the space. To create a space for Deanna's son an/or husband, Arianne placed a golden box near to accent the chair. 

This Diaper Cake was also created by Nadia Khoury-King of Afif Collections. Beautifully embellished with baby toys and accessories the inside of the cake is also stuffed with some surprises. 

Arianne and Charis designed and packaged  little bottles of BBQ sauce to compliment the theme and send guests home with a keepsake from the party.
